Ho Ho Ho, Santa is coming to ride with the crew of the Elsmere Fire Company! Below are the dates and times Santa will be with us, and updates will be posted to our Facebook as needed. Please keep in mind dates and times are approximate and subject to change due to weather and emergency calls.
Career Fair

Are you interested in becoming a Firefighter or EMT? The Elsmere Fire Company will be taking part in a Career Fair hosted by Red Clay Schools. Location will be at the John Dickinson School located at 1801 Milltown Rd Wilm, DE 19808 on Tuesday March 21st at 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This event is free and open to the public. Come by and see what the Fire/EMS Service is all about.

Crash Traps One
Saturday, August 20, 2022
On the morning of Saturday August 20th at 10:30am Station 16 was dispatched to an MVC at the intersection of Kirkwood Highway and S DuPont Road. Tower 16 arrived to find the driver of a sedan trapped in the vehicle. Driver was freed within 5 minutes and was treated and transported in stable condition to an area hospital.

Elsmere Christmas Parade

The 2021 Elsmere Christmas Parade will be held on December 12th, 2021. The Christmas Parade will feature Fire Trucks, Floats, Bands and Marching Units, Classic Cars, and of course Santa and Mrs. Clause will be there as well. There will also be a Breakfast with Santa in the morning at the Firehouse. The Breakfast will be from 8am-12pm and the Parade will start at 2pm.
